CALM Coach Certification Training Program CALM Coach Certificate training is highly structured and intensive. Participants are instructed on program rationale, theoretical understanding of anger and aggression, motivational techniques, cognitive behavior theory, rational-emotive theory, problem solving methods, relapse prevention planning and other key topics pertaining to CALM delivery.
Importantly, CALM Coach training is highly experiential. Participants are exposed to multiple program delivery styles and all participants experience peer and trainer reviews of their own lesson plans and presentations.
eCALM is designed to work in conjunction with conventional CALM Coach training. The goal of eCALM is to provide additional support for counselors – giving them the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the information and skills needed to effectively deliver CALM.
