Q: Is this program considered ‘eLearning’?
A: No. S4Potential program designers have shown a commitment to proven practices that engage and challenge users. Users will find themselves engaged and motivated by a program design that creates a ‘back-&-forth’ interaction between themselves and the program. This interactive style of learning is so new, we coined the term NeoModal™ to describe it: the interaction itself is a key aspect of the learning process, and a key to learning retention. In addition, the choice of rich graphics, video and music, means that the program does not even remotely resemble ‘old school’ eLearning programs that dumped textbook facts and figures into the laps of confused users.

Facts alone often don’t change deeply ingrained human behaviors, emotional engagement does.

Q: Isn’t it difficult to build and maintain a custom-designed program with S4Potential?
A: Absolutely not!  All of our programs are developed with each partner bringing their respective expertise to the relationship.  Our expertise is in the technical program development, learning models and the related infrastructure.  Because we host and maintain the program on our secure server, any program modifications are done from our end.

Q: Is it expensive to develop a custom program?
A: No, it is not.  We will work with you to determine how to best fund the development of the program and help identify and approach possible outside funders, if necessary.  We will also explore with you the possibility of downstream revenue associated with your program.

Q: Do I have to install a lot of software?
A: No. Our NeoModal™ programs are hosted on our secure server and are accessed via the Web, so you don’t have to install anything. You will need a current Web browser that supports Adobe Flash, and a high‐speed Internet connection. You will also need headphones (recommended) or speakers to hear the audio components of the modules.

Q: What is the maximum number of users?
A: There is no maximum of users.

Q: How can I get a handle on what all my users are learning?
A: Our NeoModal™ programs offer extensive reporting capabilities. As well as offering detailed user reports to authorized administrators, the program creates useful metrics for program tracking and evaluation. It also includes pre‐ and post‐program tests and analytic report of changes.

Q: Are the programs difficult to complete?
A: The programs themselves are easy to navigate. It is the thinking behind it that is difficult. The team behind our NeoModal™ products designed them so that users would really think about the issues raised. How hard that is to do depends on the user and the severity of the problem they are developing, or have developed, and their desire and motivation to change.
