ActionScript Developer

Position & Responsibilities:
S4Potential currently has an opening for a multidisciplinary ActionScript developer. This position provides the opportunity to grow with the company and in the position’s responsibilities. In the order of importance, the ideal candidate will multitask between ActionScript development, other software development and network support.
Essential Skills:
- AS2 or AS3
- Knowledge of web services
- Experience working with interactive multimedia on high traffic websites
- Experience in developing Internet, CD, DVD applications and ActionScript based products.
- Experience developing Flash components, especially for creating complex Flash modules with interactive video.
- Experience with source control (e.g. SVN) software.
Beneficial Skills:
- ASP.NET development with CSharp
- MS Visual Studio, MS SQL, MS Office, MS Exchange
- Web Development (standards, optimization, CMS, browser compatibility)
- Solid understanding of IT support and network infrastructures
- Experience in test case development
- Experience developing e-learning materials from storyboards.
- Experience with flash video – compression, streaming, buffering and captioning for online & local applications.

- 2+ year’s software development/programming experience on web applications using Visual Studio 2005.
- Strong C#/.NET development skills.
- Strong SQL and relational database design skills.
- Some experience using nHibernate.
- Some experience using Crystal Reports.
- Experience implementing n-tier web applications using an object-oriented approach.
