I spent a great portion of my day today doing research on e-learning. I came across a company called Lumos Labs Inc (http://www.lumosity.com/) based out of San Francisco, California.
It caught my attention, and I decided to take a look around. Their slogan is “reclaim your brain™” which is precisely what they do. Lumos Labs is a cognitive neuroscience research and development company that builds software tools for improving brain health and performance. (more...)

I flew in from Pearson Airport (Toronto) into Ottawa late evening yesterday (May 1st) with my colleague Yves Demers after attending a well organized 2 day event at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre (MTCC). On April 12, 2007, Dr. Bill Winogron and I attended a software sales training event, hosted by the Ottawa Software Cluster (OSC). The OSC is an association aimed at helping software companies, they have no membership fees and no general funding, nevertheless they always manage to put together very inexpensive or free seminars and other helpful events.
